probably with the programer who was in charge of that portion of the game, and someone who no longer worked for Pathea. deleted, destroyed, lost or whatever, was a defunct piece of software used for the multiplayer lobby, which not only was the staging area for the multiplayer servers, but was also the link to the workshop (player-made-creations).
Well you got over 60 hours played, so that's a pretty good value for the money spent, also the game isn't gone.
